Fiddler on the Roof

Starlight’s Youth Theatre presents the musical, Fiddler on the Roof! Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof touches audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty. This universal show is a staple of the musical theater canon and captivating for the whole family. Set in a Russian village in the home of Tevye, a husband and father strives to uphold his family’s religious and cultural traditions. Artistic Director, Cyn Strycharz, and Music Director, Dan Mashia, lead a group of talented local children in grades 6-12 in this exciting production with performances at the Academy of Music in Northampton at 7:00 on May 3 and 1:00 and 7:00 on May 4. Fiddler On Roof is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). With iconic and beloved songs such as “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” Fiddler on the Roof is the perfect mix of audience-pleasing humor and heart.

This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card.
